Privacy policy

This page describes what data ksratai.lt collects, why, and who receives it.

Who is responsible for the data

Page view count — no cookies

The site counts page views to understand which services and pages visitors are interested in. The count uses no cookies and writes nothing to your device. You do not need to click “Accept” for it: it runs regardless of your choice in the cookie banner.

When you view a page, it sends:

  • the page address without parameters;
  • the domain of the site you came from — on the first view only;
  • the screen width;
  • the browser language — two letters;
  • the time.

When you move to another page of the site without reloading, the view is sent again.

What is stored:

  • the page address and the domain you came from;
  • the country and device type — mobile if the screen is narrower than 768 pixels, otherwise computer;
  • the time of receipt;
  • a daily visitor fingerprint — a hash of the IP address, browser data and date, computed with the service's secret key. Because of the date its value changes every day; it is used so that one visitor is not counted twice in a day.

The server uses your IP address and browser data (user-agent) at the moment of receipt — to determine the country and compute the fingerprint — and does not store them. To protect against overload, a hash of the IP address with a secret key is kept briefly. The browser language and the exact screen width are not stored.

The legal basis is KS Ratai's legitimate interest in understanding how visitors use the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The count stores neither your IP address nor any other direct data about you.

You can object to the count. If Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is on in your browser, the site sends no count request at all. You can also block requests to webway-crm.vercel.app with a blocker.

The count data is processed by WebWay OÜ (Estonia) as a processor on behalf of KS Ratai. The server that receives the requests runs on the Vercel platform.

There is no automatic deletion of count records yet.

Google Analytics — only with your consent

If you click “Accept” in the banner, the site turns on Google Analytics 4. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<identifier> for 2 years and sends Google information about the visit.

Google does not store the IP addresses of visitors from the EU: it uses them only to determine the country and city, and deletes them straight away. Events are kept in Google Analytics for 2 months.

Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and its cookies are not set. The recipient is Google Ireland Limited. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

You can change your decision at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.

The request form

If you send a request, we receive what you entered: the car, the service, the preferred date, your phone number and a comment. The request arrives as an email to the workshop's mailbox through the Resend email service.

The legal basis is taking steps to provide the service at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

To protect the form from spam, the server keeps the sender's IP address in memory for about 10 minutes.

The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp with the text of the request; the conversation then continues in WhatsApp.

The Google map

The contacts page and the bottom of the home page contain an embedded Google Maps map. When it loads, your browser connects to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address; Google may set its own cookies. The map loads regardless of your choice in the cookie banner.

What the site stores on your device

  • the NEXT_LOCALE cookie — the site language you chose;
  • the ksr-analytics-consent entry in browser storage (localStorage) — your answer in the cookie banner, if you gave one;
  • the Google Analytics cookies _ga and _ga_<identifier> — only after consent.

The page view count stores nothing on your device. The Google map may set its own Google cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, and you can object to processing — write to ks4ratai@gmail.com.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija).
